What type of decals does the Print Source offer?
Decals are a versatile, impactful method to display your message in full color on hard, smooth surfaces, from manufactured parts to promotional products – virtually anything you wish to brand. More than just a sticker, decals can be produced in just about any size and shape.
Decals can be printed on a variety of substrates to match your requirements: paper, vinyl – or even polyester to withstand high heat. Working with you, we’ll recommend the right substrate and adhesive, from removable to aggressive and permanent. We can even provide your decals on sheets, rolls, or individually, depending on your end use.

How does laser engraving work?
Engraving is a permanent method of marking products that provides an indelible mark on your merchandise. Our laser technology enables us to accommodate large or small products. From engraving large graphics to engraving small logos or messages on a mug – we have laser engraving covered!
Unlike many engravers, we utilize a variety of lenses that allow us to engrave large, even convex or concave surfaces. We can engrave on wood, glass, leather, cork, painted metals and ceramic/tile, even paper! Your engraved logo will never fade or wear off.

What are metal placards?
Metal placards are a durable and eye-catching method of adding your logo or message to a product. Many manufacturing operations rely on metal placards, or even Metalphoto®, for longevity and a metal-to-metal look, to blend with an existing metal surface that may even be curved.
These attractive placards can be printed in multiple colors and are available in a variety of thicknesses. We’re sure to have one that will be perfect for your application.

When do you recommend direct printing?
When you want a “Wow!” dynamic, full-color impact for that original “OEM” look to your branding, direct printing gives a feeling of heightened authenticity to your products, reflecting the essence of how you want your brand to be seen.
Many surfaces are receptive to direct printing, such as flat parts, products with nominal curves, and items up to 20+ inches tall which are common in the promotional products industry.

Should I consider direct transfers?
Direct transfers are often the perfect solution when digital printing, decals and screen printing are not optimal. Direct transfers are flexible in size and lend themselves to smooth application, including small, hard-to-get-to areas that still merit branding.
